Eurostop helps outdoor clothing specialist Trespass extend into Europe

A leading British supplier of retail management systems provides EPOS solution to comply with fiscal tax systems in stores across Poland and Slovakia Eurostop has rolled out a software solution to enable the outdoor clothing retailer Trespass, to open outlets in Poland and Slovakia. The system provides the functionality to work with government controlled fiscal devices that control sales tax revenues in these countries. Every retail transaction in Poland and Slovakia must be recorded in store using a fiscal printer attached to a till point. The information collected is then made available to government tax inspectors. Eurostop’s retail management system has been adapted to comply with this legal requirement thereby enabling Trespass to use the same EPOS solution across Europe. Trespass, based in Glasgow, has rolled out the software to seven stores in Poland and will shortly go live in Slovakia. The high performance, quality outdoor clothing brand is extending into Europe after opening more than 150 stores across the UK. It uses Eurostop’s e-pos to record sales data at its tills and is fully integrated with stock control enabling automatic re-ordering for all its stores. Afzal Khushi, Director at Trespass said: “As a fast growing business we are impressed that Eurostop has enabled us to have our European and UK operations running on one retail system. This will help us to manage sales in all our stores, control the supply and movement of stock and enhance our performance across the region.” Deborah Loh, Marketing Manager at Eurostop, added: “Eurostop is committed to providing a comprehensive retail management system for all our clients. Our software now has the flexibility to comply with the regulatory demands of markets across the world. It means our clients can concentrate on building their businesses aided by the transparency and flexibility that our technology provides.”

Beauty brand TheFaceShop manages complex store promotions with ease using Eurostop systems

Successful international natural beauty brand manages over 1,000 products using Eurostop’s retail management solution. Natural beauty brand TheFaceShop has implemented Eurostop’s e-rmis head office system and e-pos in all of its retail outlets to capture and process till sales and replenish and manage stock levels across its store network in Singapore. TheFaceShop will be using Eurostop’s solution to set auto-replenishment for stock across its stores with minimum and maximum levels for all lines, allowing for cross promotions and sales of linked beauty care products. Each outlet is able to order stock via the till point, which has significantly reduced the time taken to process orders. Samenther Seow, IT Manager at TFS Singapore Pte Ltd explained; “We needed a connected system that could give us an instant picture of our live sales, rather than having to wait for an import from a different system. It saves us a huge amount of time as we can instantly see which lines are selling. “We also have a complex promotion model across our range of products. The Eurostop system recognises automatically whether promotion requirements are met when a sale is entered at till point. This relieves the burden for our sales staff of having to calculate different discount tiers. With so many similar products it was easy to make mistakes when doing stocktake. Now it’s automated and completely up to date our stock accuracy is often higher than 95%.” The built in reports for stock audits make it easier to control stock movements, ensuring that the right stock is bought in and store stocks are replenished to meet demand. Using the e-cubes functionality the team is able to generate customised reports with more detailed business intelligence on specific stores, promotions or product lines, as and when required. Deborah Loh, Marketing Manager at Eurostop, said; “Retailers like TheFaceShop operate in a highly competitive market where customer brand loyalty is key to success. We have designed our systems to help retailers of all sizes manage stock levels for many different product lines, meet fluctuating customer demand and support promotional campaigns. Having accurate, live sales data is vital to balance stock and profitability.” Samenther Seow added; “There is no doubt that Eurostop was able to meet our requirements fully. The ability to meet our complex sales and marketing promotions has definitely reduced the burden on retail staff, improving our customer service. We also save a lot of time now that our reports are automated.”

Eurostop to launch latest version of e-fulfilment module for e-pos Touch

Intelligent fulfilment of customer orders helps omni-channel retailers maximise available stock and deliver higher levels of customer service Eurostop has announced the release of the latest version of its e-fulfilment module, available for its e-pos Touch (and mobile POS) solution. The e-fulfilment module provides an intelligent stock fulfilment system that prioritises and fulfils customer orders from across company stock. e-fulfilment uses the head office stock control system, e-rmis to facilitate intelligent sourcing from multiple locations. This enables the retailer to fulfil customer orders in the best and quickest way; which is vital in a modern retail system that faces increasing demands and sophisticated experiences from consumers. Eurostop’s e-pos system uses the latest touch screen and mobile technology, with user friendly screens that are easier and faster to use. e-fulfilment integrates with e‑pos Touch and enables retailers to satisfy customer orders, including e-commerce orders, directly from the store till point. It decides if an e‑commerce order can be fulfilled either from the branch stock or warehouse based on different criteria set at Head Office. If the store is chosen, the system automatically alerts the store e-pos that it has the items in stock so that fulfilment of the orders is prioritised. Advanced screens for filtering searches for orders, and picking and packing streamline the process.  Furthermore additional scanning hardware ensures accurate stock movements and stock visibility across the company. The new version also includes the option to integrate with MetaPack delivery management systems used by retailers and specialist suppliers to ship millions of parcels worldwide. Deborah Loh, Marketing Manager at Eurostop, said; “This latest version of e‑fulfilment complements our fully integrated suite of retail management solutions designed to support omni-channel retailers.  Our technology has been designed for a very competitive marketplace where there are increasing demands to provide a connected customer shopping experience across any combination of channels. We are pleased to see that the e-fulfilment module has been streamlining our customer’s retail processes, optimising order fulfilment, while at the same time, allowing them to focus their energy on their customers.”

Outdoor specialist retailer Gaynor Sports invests in Eurostop’s retail management systems

‘Mecca’ for outdoor clothing in heart of Lake District uses Eurostop systems to handle and support sales of thousands of items daily in store and online Eurostop has announced that Gaynor Sports, an independent outdoor clothing retailer is using Eurostop’s retail management and e‑commerce solutions to process sales across its many departments and for its fast growing online business and warehouse. Gaynor Sports has installed e‑pos in each of its different store departments, and uses e-rmis and the e‑fulfilment module for stock management across the store, warehouse and online. Eurostop built and hosts the retailer’s new e-commerce site which is based on its responsive e-commerce platform with layout  adapting to suit the device being used. For example, a user accessing the site on a tablet will see the site optimised to display well on a tablet, with columns that scroll down rather than across, and easier menu navigation. The new look website, was designed by Eurostop to encompass the Gaynors’ brand and highlight their store presence in the Lake District. Gaynor Sports states that Eurostop’s systems are integral to its business functions, providing accurate information on store sales and online business which ships many thousands of items daily. According to Jamie Shepherd, Managing Director at Gaynor Sports; “Everyone in the business uses the Eurostop systems – the warehouse team, Buyers, sales staff on the shop floor, customer call centre, accounts staff and purchasing. Before we only had two or three people using our stock systems, now it is core to our business. “We scan every item in and out of the warehouse in boxes. It is absolutely perfect – we know exactly what we have got so the accuracy is vastly improved. We also use the Eurostop system for replenishing stock in store, reordering and forecasting. The reports are really easy to use – it’s great to have that information to hand – we can see popular lines, where we are against last year – all the information we need to run the business.” Eurostop’s e-fulfilment module underpins the stock management system and enables Gaynor Sports to manage the stock to fulfil online customer orders. Gaynor Sports benefits from having a view of its live stock position in the warehouse and shop to efficiently fulfil web orders and optimise stock turnover. The system prioritises each e-commerce order as it arrives, and either auto‑generates picks for the warehouse if it finds the stock in the warehouse or elects to take the stock from the store. Deborah Loh, Marketing Manager at Eurostop said; “Businesses like Gaynor Sports have built their success on knowing their products and serving the customer well. They stock thousands of product lines as a result, all of which must be carefully managed and accounted for. Our retail systems give them absolute control of what stock they need to meet customer demand and helps them keep track of items and orders even during the busiest times. It helps them manage their business, satisfying customers while ensuring a profitable bottom line.”
