Pure Fashions turned to Eurostop for a highly flexible, automated solution that could support the company’s steady business growth, in particular the launch of new retail outlets in different parts of the country. Ying Walsh, Director of Pure Fashions, commented, “Eurostop’s proven and unrivalled expertise in the fashion industry gave us the confidence we needed to invest in new technology.  We are relying on their complete range of flexible yet highly integrated systems to automate our processes, drive efficiencies and over time, link our head office with the rest of the business from one, single, easy-to-use platform.” Pure Fashions anticipates that the biggest benefit of using Eurostop will be its ability to identify the best-selling items in the Manchester store, enabling it to focus on the most popular brands.  This valuable trend analysis will have the additional advantage of capturing important data that empowers staff to deliver the products that their local customers actually want. Phillip Moylan, Sales and Marketing Manager at Eurostop added, “Independent retailers like Pure Fashions want to know that their new ventures are going to succeed from day one.  Our systems give them the analysis they need to sell the right products at the right time.” For Pure Fashions, Eurostop’s high level of customer service and reliable, rapid response to queries and issues count among their greatest strengths.  Despite having only recently installed the Eurostop system, the company already has plans to expand the new implementation in the near future.

Pavers Shoes gets sole foothold in India with support from Eurostop

York footwear company with over 100 UK stores plans expansion of 120 additional stores and 350 concessions internationally using systems from Eurostop Pavers Shoes has become the first foreign single-brand retailer to set up wholly owned stores in India.  Pavers Shoes uses Eurostop’s Head Office retail management system e-rmis to manage live sales and stocks linked to its ecommerce business shoe-shop.com and Eurostop’s e-pos across its 100 UK stores.  Pavers England, a joint venture with Foresight Group, plans expansion in India of its existing 70 department store concessions, opening 120 new retail stores and a further 280 concessions  over the next two years.  The proposal was approved following the Indian government’s decision to ease restriction on foreign retailers owning more than 51% of their shops. Currently Pavers Shoes pools its stock across its website and stores, with prices the same for all outlets.  Stock levels are managed on the website using Eurostop’s system and visitors to the online store only see those items that are in stock.  In addition, Paver’s Area Managers have web based access to the central database for sales details, helping them monitor branch performance. This enables them to compare the performance of the branches and take remedial action if required, moving best sellers to meet local customer preferences and demand. Stuart Paver, Managing Director of Pavers said; “We are very proud to be the first company in the world to receive the Indian Government’s agreement to own 100% of its own retail stores in India. Our investment in Eurostop’s systems over ten years ago has supported our fast growth both in the UK and now with our International business. We are delighted to be trail blazing a path in what will be the most dynamic retail market in the world over the next decade.” Phillip Moylan, Sales & Marketing Manager at Eurostop said; “Eurostop’s systems underpin the foundations for a successful retail business.  By capturing sales at till point and providing up to the minute stock records, retailers can analyse sales data and react quickly to customer demand. Maintaining cost efficient stock levels and using data to support business decisions ensures a profitable bottom line that can sustain business growth.”

Overland Shoes invests in Eurostop for pan-European urban footwear business

Latest e-cubes functionality boosts sales and customer loyalty for premium G-Star RAW Footwear brand in Belgium, France, Germany, Holland and Spain Overland Shoes, which markets premium urban footwear brand G-Star RAW at outlet stores across Europe in Belgium, France, Holland and Spain, has purchased Eurostop’s e-cubes data mining module to identify best-sellers and introduce tailored promotions that boost sales and customer loyalty.  Overland’s latest investment in Eurostop follows the company’s successful implementation of e-rmis and e-pos retail systems in 2011 when the company first launched the G-Star RAW footwear outlet business in Europe.  During that time, Overland Shoes has created a single, integrated retail management solution that links seamlessly with the organisation’s STYLEman wholesale distribution system to track and replenish stock quickly and ensure tight control of more than 400 styles and sizes across Europe. Overland Shoes first turned to Eurostop two years ago for a highly versatile solution that could support the company’s ambitious growth plans. Richard Thompson, Merchandise Manager of Overland Shoes, said, “We looked at a lot of retail systems but Eurostop’s proven and unrivalled expertise in the clothing and footwear market really clinched the deal.  They came highly recommended and their easy-to-use technology offered the flexibility and superior functionality we needed to handle the language aspects of running a truly pan-European business.  This winning combination inspired us with confidence, promising a quick return on investment.” Overland Shoes originally installed Eurostop’s e-rmis head office management and e-pos retail systems to handle stock inventory and capture sales of the newly launched G-Star RAW footwear at two outlet stores in Holland and Germany.  Since first deploying Eurostop, Overland Shoes has tightened up its stock control processes, expanding the original implementation to six major outlet stores in Belgium, France, Holland and Spain with plans to support two more stores when they open next year. One of the biggest benefits of using Eurostop is its ‘one-stop-shop’ approach enabling Overland to view, store and execute all stock control, inventory and replenishment information and activities from a single, integrated system.  Users also cite visibility and transparency as additional advantages. Most recently, Overland has purchased e-cubes, Eurostop’s data mining module to interrogate and report on sales and customer data at all outlets, a particular bonus for an industry where preferences for footwear often vary from country to country. Richard Thompson continued, “e-cubes gives us the hard data we need to make informed commercial decisions.  We know which lines are selling well at different stores and can quickly move stock around to meet the style demands of different cultures.  Extremely easy to use, we can quickly introduce carefully tailored promotions and special offers that help us boost sales and foster customer loyalty in a way that just wasn’t possible before Eurostop.” Phillip Moylan, Sales and Marketing Manager at Eurostop concluded, “Dynamic companies like Overland Shoes and G-Star want access to meaningful information that spots the hot sellers and gives customers exactly what they want. Eurostop understands the challenges that international organisations face during times of rapid expansion, helping them deploy web-based retail management technology that is easy to use, fully automated and vastly scalable.”

Eurostop publishes Step by Step guide to Omni Channel Retailing

Eurostop, a leading supplier to the fashion, footwear and lifestyle sectors has published a white paper outlining a Step by Step approach to implementing omni-channel retailing. While some retailers will attempt the ‘big bang’ approach, this will not suit every retailer or every budget. This white paper sets out an alternative. The key to a successful omni-channel implementation, which is explored in the paper, is to take a platform approach to retail systems.  This avoids the integration issues that have dogged many multi-channel retail projects and ensures that each element of the system works perfectly with every other element.  Fully integrated systems provide a better shopping experience for customers, which boosts sales.  It also saves time and ensures integrity of data allowing the retailer to take decisions across all business departments, confident in the knowledge that they have all the available facts to support that decision. By selecting a vendor that can supply an end-to-end solution, mid-sized and independent retailers can choose the functionality they need, and add to the system over time as their business expands. Good omni-channel solutions come with a variety of implementation options, including in-house, and hosted/managed, or cloud.  So as well as taking a Step by Step approach, retailers can also avoid upfront expenditure on additional hardware/servers to run the systems, instead opting for a managed/hosted solution where the system is managed and maintained off site with all updates to the system happening automatically.
