GerrardGerard Maghoo leads the Eurostop London Support team where the ethos has always been to put the customer first. He is reinforced by his management team who have amassed 130 years of service at Eurostop and a wide range of retail experience  within both business and customer service roles. This provides an unparalleled knowledge of the company, its products and a wealth of specialised expertise in the sector.

Gerard studied at the French Lycee Charles de Gaulle de Londre and with his bilingual skills has been invaluable as the company continues its international growth.

Starting his career as a John Craig export clerk, he soon progressed to take on the position of senior allocator and merchandiser at Lady at Lord John (part of the Raybeck Group).  Gerard joined Eurostop in 1998 and now heads up the front line Support Department.

“In my opinion, Eurostop is like no other company and prides itself in giving our clients the best support with minimum fuss.  I have a dedicated team with lots of experience to support our clients.

This year we will extend that support to 22:00, seven days a week (bar Christmas Day), when needed. I could not have asked for a better career path. Being part of such a company where we are not just a number but more of a family is very important to me. This motivates me and my team to ensure that the company will continue its success, not only in the UK but internationally.”

ManjitManjit Sanghera started at Eurostop as a Support Engineer 17 years ago and now assists Gerard in managing the Support Department.

“I have seen the company and its products evolve over the years from DOS based products to the state of the art Windows solutions that we now offer. My main area of focus is not only ensuring that we don’t just ‘support’ our customers but place emphasis on the quality of service delivered. This will assist our customers in meeting the growing challenges ahead of them.”

FrancisFrancis Adjei has now completed 11 years of service with Eurostop and holds the position of Engineer Supervisor. He and his team are responsible for e-pos rollouts.

“I have learned a lot from working with some amazing people. As the e-pos engineer supervisor, I have to manage various rollouts with technical expertise. This includes defining, reviewing and validating hardware requirements and solutions. It has been great working in such a team; each project has come with new and different challenges, this is part of what excites me about my job.

I have seen Eurostop grow to become an international company, established within the market and a leading provider of retail solutions. I have had great opportunities to travel around the world installing tills and training clients and have made many friends along the way.”

Through the years, the roles undertaken have allowed me to represent Eurostop in various capacities, in many countries, meeting numerous companies and their staff.
