Hence, redesigning and re-launching their transactional website on the number one e-commerce platform for fashion, FrescaCommerce® from BT Fresca was a key decision in enabling them to push the boundaries of the online shopping experience.
BT Fresca worked closely with the Matches web team to create a new online shopping experience that faithfully communicates the brand and the high street in-store experience. To achieve this exciting and engaging web experience BT Fresca implemented FrescaCommerce BluePrint which has all the benefits of a functionally rich e-commerce application together with website creative freedom. It also utilises the FrescaCommerce call centre and fulfillment modules.
Matches customers can now experience the FrescaCommerce intuitive search and powerful in-site guided navigation, fast filter and filtering helps thus ensuring customers find that new fashion item effortlessly and simply.
The shopping experience does not end once the customer has pressed the confirm order in the checkout, but continues right through to the package delivery and all communications with the retailer. To ensure Matches site provide their customers with a ‘joined up’ and a true integrated multichannel experience, FrescaCommerce is fully integrated with their merchandising system Eurostop and also utilises the FrescaCommerce fulfilment and call centre modules. Systems integration ensures the product catalogue is current and easily maintained by Matches, with stock and order information being dynamically exchanged between the systems. This also provides the online customer with a real-time view of product availability, creating customer confidence and ensures delivery commitments are met.
Fresca Commerce is provided under a 99.9% Service Level Agreement (SLA) covering 24 x 7 support, managed hosting, maintenance, upgrades, hardware and software. These services are included within a fixed monthly fee, as ‘Software as a Service’ (SaaS), the cost effective way of delivering e-commerce.
