Cambridge Satchel Company selects Eurostop for retail management information systems

Eurostop, a leading supplier to the fashion, footwear and lifestyle sectors has been selected by the Cambridge Satchel Company to supply EPOS, stock management and head office solutions for its growing retail arm. Eurostop’s e-pos has been installed at the brand’s stores in London’s Covent Garden and Rose Crescent in Cambridge. e-rmis has been installed at the retailer’s head office where as well as capturing sales data, it will be used to manage stock, enabling the stores to call down allocated stock from the factory as required to meet customer demand. In December 2012, The Cambridge Satchel Company opened its first retail store, in London’s Covent Garden. This meant that the retailer needed a permanent retail management information system.  Eurostop’s e-rmis and e-pos came highly recommended supported by a long track record and experience within the fashion sector. Aquascutum selects new management and EPoS system

Inventor of the classic Trench Coat selects new retail IT systems to integrate with wholesale, store concession and online operations Luxury clothing brand Aquascutum, famous for inventing the first waterproof fabric and designing the trench coat, has selected new retail management and electronic point-of-sale (EPoS) software from specialist provider Eurostop. Aquascutum changed their business systems after they were sold by the Jaeger Group and will use the Eurostop management and EPoS systems for its six standalone stores, its concessions in John Lewis and House of Fraser and for managing stock for its online store. Speedy integration requirements Bob Gurney, IT consultant at Aquascutum, said: “We needed an off-the-shelf package that we could implement quickly and easily and that would integrate with our STYLEman product development and wholesale system. Eurostop has a good reputation within the market and were able to provide us with a system that matched our immediate requirements and had the ability to support future growth.” The Eurostop retail systems are integrated with both the STYLEman wholesale management system and the retailer’s e-commerce system. This ensures that Aquascutum can manage all their business processes for the different channels within Eurostop. The live sales and stocks give accurate visibility of branch performance and merchandisers can quickly react to market trends. Adding reporting capabilities Aquascutum will also be using Eurostop eCubes data mining and reporting facility. The e-cubes are a reporting tool that will allow the head office team at Aquascutum to interrogate operational system data and compile bespoke reports, including weekly sales, stock and intake (WSSI). The new Eurostop e-pos Touch software has been optimised to run on a range of hand held devices including tablets and smartphones. e-pos Touch software is available on fixed tills, tablet and smartphone devices, with a special version for mobile phone retailers that handles IMEI codes. The software is easier and more intuitive for staff to use, reducing the requirement for training, and utilises mobile technology such as voice activation, making reporting for managers much quicker. The new release will run alongside current versions of e-rmis in a mixed environment (Windows 7, Windows 8) and provides a flexible, risk free upgrade path for existing customers.
